ReAnne Barba, Assistant Principal

I’m ReAnne Barba, one of the new assistant principals at Camino Real Elementary. I’m originally from Austin and began my teaching career in California, working in Special Education and later in 4th grade. I earned my bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education from Texas State and a master’s in Science of Education from California Baptist University.

After returning back to Texas, I taught dual-language 3rd and 4th grade math/science, served as a math interventionist, instructional coach, and completed my principal residency in the Del Valle Independent School District. I’m passionate about creating inclusive learning environments that help all students succeed.

Outside of work, I’m a proud mom of two young boys who will be joining me at Camino Real this year. I’m excited to be part of this amazing community and look forward to a great year!
